Center for Intergovernmental Relations conducts applied analytical research on issues of subnational public finance, federalism and local self-government. The Center provides technical assistance to the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation in the development of intergovernmental fiscal relations.
The mission of the Center is to assist the Government in designing the system of intergovernmental fiscal relations in the way that would contribute to meeting the goals of social and economic development of the country.
