The main spheres of research are as follows:

• developing theoretical and methodological issues of fostering economic, monetary and financial as well as credit relations with other countries in the context of globalization and development of regional integration processes;
• examining the issues of the world monetary system, international liquidity, balance of payments condition, international reserves of countries and their monetary and financial policy;
• analyzing the activity of international monetary and financial organizations, forms and methods applied by them to regulate integration processes in the monetary sphere, to improve international payment and settlement relations;
• condition and problems of applying the international standards of financial reporting under the domestic conditions;
• theory and practice of financial control considering the experience of foreign countries; improvement of the legal framework and organization of the state financial control and auditing in the Russian Federation;
• organization and implementation of the in-house financial control.
