The Centre studies the relationships between macroeconomic, social and other estimated indices used as a part of the leading indices for the development and adjustment of the budget policy, prepares reviews of the anticipated conditions of the budget policy. It also creates and updates the data bases of the leading indices of Russia as well as the world economy in whole and in terms of particular countries – the major foreign economic partners of the Russian Federation. The Centre develops the monitoring of conditions of financing the economy. It participates in the formal examination of the documents of the federal agencies concerning short- and medium-term economic and financial policy, provides the mass media with scientific assessment of economic and financial events.
