Health Care Finance Centre

The Health Care Finance Centre does applied scientific and analytical research into the issues relating to public expenditures on health care and methodology of their efficiency improvement, studies the experience of foreign countries in developing health care patterns (budget, social insurance, private), draws up a comprehensive strategy in health care involving the issues relating to financing and implementing structural and institutional reforms.
The Centre provides the Russian Federation Ministry of Finance with expert and methodological support in improving the efficiency of public expenditures on health care.

The objective of R&D carried out by the Health Care Finance Centre is to develop an effective health care pattern and methodology of improving the efficiency of public expenditures on health care.

The main research priorities of the Centre's activity conform to inquiries and orders of the Russian Federation Ministry of Finance.

The highly qualified team consisting of three Doctors of Medicine and one Ph.D. in Economics is working in the Centre.
